So true Catie - and as you know there are a couple of other elements that come to mind - a bonding that goes on between bride, groom, bridal party and even families is amazing - and the other is that the couple are so much more relaxed on their wedding day if a rehearsal has been conducted.
The vital part of a good "performance", be it the celebrant, the couple or their attendants. Setting it up at the rehearsal, explaing and having them understand the choreography of the upcoming ceremony offers them the opportunity and understanding of how things will happen "on the day" .
They like to know where they will be standing etc. It ensures that on the day the guests can see a relaxed and happy bridal party.. it helps eveyone focus on the true purpose of the ceremony. Good choreography allows eveyone attending to feel part of an intimate occasion.
Its nice for the couple to know someone is going to help them SHINE on their wedding day.
