When preparing for the ceremony make sure your non-verbal communication matches the words you are saying - like a smile when talking about love. Good eye contact, facial expressions and posture (to name a few) all play an important role in effectively communicating an authentic funeral service.
It is unforgivable to mispronounce the deceased person's name through a funeral service. If unsure ask the family for the correct pronunciation and if need be, write the name down as it sounds in your ceremony script
so you do not offend and upset the family unnecessarily.
